If you're hosting a night out for a group of people why not reserve an area at Slouch? We have three areas in the bar we can reserve for drinks. You can choose from either the couches in the window, our living room area besdie the fire place or if you're a bigger group of people then the two large booths at the back of the bar. These can also be reserved individually. We don't reserve tables any later than 7.30pm and they'll be yours right through until 3am.
We've got everything you need for a great group night out. There's drink promos seven nights a week on wine, beer and spirits so they'll be something to suit all tastes. Our Kitchen is open until 10pm every day so you can order some of our tasty pizzas or legendary twice cooked chips if hunger strikes. Plus on Fridays and Saturdays our resident DJ's play a mix of indie and rock so you can join the dancers in the venue right through until the early hours.

And on the seventh day God rested...and had a Sunday roast and a cocktail or two. Well tomorrow is Valentines Day. If you're planning on going out for a meal here at Slouch there will be no rose petals or love ballads! Just what we do best: delicous home cooked food, drinks promos from £2 and Rock 'n' Roll. We've got our evening market menu running from 4pm, two courses for £10.95 and as it's a Tuesday all cocktails are £3.50. If your staying out we've got live Jazz in the venue from 10pm right through til closing at 2am.
At the weekend we've got our resident DJ's playing from 11pm til 3am. Badseed on Friday with DJ Heather McCartney and Rip This Joint with DJ Jopez on Saturday.
And on Sunday we've got everything you need for a day of rest. £3.50 cocktails, Sunday Roast on the menu and no less than three footie matchs on the tellys Hibs v Celtic@3pm, Liverpool v Brighton HA @430pm and Barcelona v Valencia@8pm. And if you fancy enjoying some live music there's bands performing in the venue courtesy of Blues Kitchen Live from 6pm right through until 11pm.

February Already!!! Well Slouchers this week January draws to a close and with it the legendary January Blow Out. Despair not though because we have decided to continue our most popular drinks promos of the month. Which means Gordons Gin and Havana Club are proud to join Smirnoff Vodka, Bulliet Bourbon and Bacardi Rum in the Slouch drinks promotions. All available with a mix for £2 Sunday to Wednesday and £3 Thursday to Saturday. The cocktails have been in seriously high demand this month and if you still need your bargain cocktail fix then all our cocktails on the list are £3.50 Sunday to Tuesday.
Still fairly new to Slouch's music bill is The Blokes, a live blues and folk combo, playing from 9pm on a Sunday in the venue. They play a great mix of covers, Kings of Leon and Mumford and Sons featured this week, as well as their own material so we'd seriously recommend you check them out this Sunday, 9pm, free entry.
What else have we got live music wise? Well Acoustic sessions on Monday, Slouch Jazz on Tuesday from 10pm right through until 2am and at the weekend the best rock 'n' roll DJ's about bring you the tunes you want to dance too from 11pm right through til 3am. Badseed on Friday with DJ Heather McCartney and Rip This Joint with DJ Jopez on Saturday. Even Sunday isn't a day of rest at Slouch with Blues Kitchen Live bringing you performances from both Rebel 69 and Valetta Blues. Closely followed by the aforementioned "ones to watch" The Blokes.

For Burns Day we've got a special Burns market menu running form 4pm to 10pm today. Its got all the Scottish classics on it, Haggis, Veggie Haggis, Cranachan. This week’s latest edition to the gantry is Crystal Head vodka which comes in a bottle shaped like a skull! Dan Akroyd (Yeah, that guy) is the spokesman for the brand, so you know it’s good stuff! Lots going down this week in the run up to Christmas! If you are going to see The View early in the week at The ABC we’ll be playing them in heavy rotation before and after the gig, so come down and grab some food and a couple of beers or maybe even one of our £3.50 cocktails (Available Monday & Tuesday). We’ve also got all the Serie A football on our screens on Tuesday and Wednesday night. We’ve got live bands in the venue from 10pm on Thursday night too! Free entry, of course.
If you are in finishing off your Christmas shopping don’t forget we’re serving delicious home cooked food 7 days a week from 12-10 (9pm on Sunday). We have PMCJ Promotions back for Thursday 22nd September presenting The River 68’s. As usual it’s a free entry slot and not to be missed these guys look as if they are going to break it this year so it’s a great opportunity for an intimate gig.
Our first birthday is coming up in over the September weekend and we are having another weekender for the Bank Holiday.

Thanks to everyone who came down at the weekend. Our first weekend without the bands went really well. We have decided to concentrate on creating a better atmosphere in both rooms and sticking to our DJs playing. We will still be putting on live music weeknights and showcasing special live music events selected weekends.

Live music continues all week at Slouch. Its T in the park weekend as if you didn’t know but we have our usual full programme of live music from PMCJ and Shake your Tailfeather Promotions. Friday night we have Mark Laydin deft & scattabrainz with backing band @ Dephs and Gasp and Loki. This is a warm up gig before Mark heads to the T break stage.
Saturday we have Black Sundays, Dirty Boots, Echobass @ Identity. Live music now kicks off a bit later at the weekend as part of our all summer long late night sessions. Its free entry of course and we have the best Rock DJ’s in town through till 3am.
Look out for our Blues kitchen Sunday where we have half price cocktails all day, Sunday Roast and the best in Blues. Sundays are always topped off with live music in the venue from 6pm.

Well that was a great weekend, hope you all enjoyed it thanks for coming down. The bands were all brilliant and thanks to those who came down for the aftershows.
Lovers Turn to Monsters had a successful album launch last Thursday and packed out the venue. A sign of big things to come surely.
This week we have live music in the venue from Monday-Sunday every night except Wed. Its free entry of course so drop on by.
Another huge success was the Grosse Point Movie Quiz who packed out the venue for the third month running. A tonne of effort went into the quiz and it really showed.

Friday – In the venue from 8.30 PMCJ present live performances from Honey & Epico with other bands to be announced! In the main bar we will have DJ Jopez spinning his most excellent mix of rock, roll, indie and soul! Free entry to both gig and main bar all night!
Saturday – PMCJ bring the rock in the venue from 8.30 once again this time with headline act Mistress, with other bands to be confirmed! DJ Jopez will be doing his thang once more in the main bar from 11! Free entry all night long!
Sunday – Ease that hangover at Slouch’s Blues Kitchen where we sooth your sore head with the finest blues and nurse you back to health with our awesome lunch menu and Sunday roast specials. Particular mention must go to the random River 68’s, Acutones & Meatmen who held an impromptu jam in the venue on Wednesday night. Instrument swapping was the order of the night and the results were incredible. Some real talent lurking about this fine city.
This week we have live music Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri ,Sat & Sunday. Plenty to keep you entertained then. It’s always free entry and we are open till 2am Sun-Thurs and 3am Fri/Sat.

Firstly congrats to The River 68’s for coming so close to winning the Bon Jovi support slot. Congrats to Val Verde who won the competition. Two terrific acts.
Thanks to all the acts who made it such a great weekend we had thirty bands playing Slouch last week and it’s great to see how Glasgow keeps throwing up such amazing talent.
We have live music all this week from Monday to Sunday so don’t miss out. Our band nights are always free entry and we are open till2 am midweek and 3am at the weekends.
Monday night we have our acoustic sessions, Tuesday its Wull Swales and the Open Mic then we have live bands Thursday through Sunday.

Well our first weekend of late trading went really well. Thanks to all who came down and particularly the bands & our DJs who had the place jumping.
This weekend is another Bank Holiday (two in a row!!!) so make sure you come down from Thursday night for live music and DJs all weekend long.
We are now open Sun-Thursday till 2am so if you’re out and about and are looking for somewhere to chill without the hassle of a nightclub (Q’s, guestlist etc) then Slouch is the one for you.
We will not be charging entry at any point and we are now open until 3am Friday & Saturdays (This week Thurs and Sunday too).
Oh and there’s some big wedding this week too we’ve heard but we don’t move much in those circles so well leave that bandwagon well alone

Well If your reading this you’ve probably already heard that we now have a late license. We are open till 3am all Easter Weekend Thurs-Sunday. Then for The May Bank Holiday next weekend it’s the same. We are welcoming DJ’s Heather Mccartney & Jopez into the fold and cant wait to get started.
Once all this holiday madness has settled down we will be open until 2am Sun-Thurs and 3am Friday & Saturday. Look forward to Midnight LIVE sessions, late night acoustic jams and much more. We will be running the same great promos and fresh fruit cocktails and itll stay free entry so make sure and keep us in mind.

This week at Slouch.. Hi all
We have live bands Wednesday and Thursday night this week from 8.30. Its free entry both nights as per usual and we have some great live music lined up for you including Neon Hero, Guttergodz, Acid Fascists and more. We have The Dawn Patrol in on Friday night playing live covers from 9.30pm, these guys are a fantastic Indie Rock covers band and always go down a storm. We have drinks promos from £2 all week long.
As usual we have our 2 Course Lunch for only £6.95 running all week long. Lovely homemade daily specials every day, cant be beat.
We have Blues Kitchen Sundays every Sunday where we will be playing the best in Blues and Rhythm N Blues all day long. We have our fantastic cocktail list at only £3.50 a cocktail and a Sunday Roast to top it off. We are currently looking for musicians to add live music to the Blues Kitchen mix so get in touch. We were pretty much cleaned out last Sunday so get down early for the best hangover cure in Glasgow.

Thanks a lot to the brothers Mead Del & Raymond for the fantastic Ronelles set on Saturday it was fantastic. Also Scott ‘Papa Burgandy’ Charles, Marner Brown and Pose Victorious. Cheers to all it was a crackin night for music.
This weekend we have The Beat Seekers on Friday night and The Shiverin Sheiks on Saturday. The bands are on at half nine and its always free entry.
If your having a wee night out and fancy heading to Slouch we can reserve you an area so drop us a line if you fancy it. If you have yet to try the food then book a table were sure you wont be disappointed.
We have Red Stripe cans at £2 seven days a week and Tennents Pints are always only £2.50.

We have a big weekend lined up for this week. The Imagineers are LIVE in the venue on Friday night. Then on Saturday we have The Ronelles playing an acoustic set as a one night only special gig.
The brothers Meade will be playing the amazing ‘Motel’ in full at Slouch. This is not to be missed. We have Pose Victorious and Marner Brown as co headliners too.
Get down early to save a seat (or a Chesterfield). The bands start from 9pm and its free entry as usual.

Thanks to all who came down this past week. If you haven’t tried the food yet then swing by as we are sure you will like it. Our 2 course lunch runs daily and is always packed with fresh local ingredients. If your coming down on your lunch break then give us a call and we can take a pre order for you if your in a rush.
We have Live bands again in the venue over the weekend, The Raybandos are in on Friday and The Shiverin Sheiks return on Saturday. The guys are on at around 9.30 and as usual its free so if you fancy some live rock n roll then swing on by.
